Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before commissioning or purchasing items from Scoupzo Zen.

1. Agreement to Terms

By placing an order, requesting a custom design, or making an appointment at our Amsterdam studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not proceed with commission orders.

2. Custom and Bespoke Commissions

Most of our wabi-sabi oak tables, basalt stone stands, and clay pedestals are handcrafted upon client commission. You acknowledge that:

• Natural variations in oak grain pattern, distress fissures, clay glaze shade, and basalt carving shapes are structural characteristics of our premium furniture design. These are not flaws but premium signatures of uniqueness.
• Production estimates are approximate. We craft each element meticulously, which may result in minor timeline adjustments to guarantee top craftsmanship.

3. Payment & Invoicing

For custom works, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before wood selection and stone carving begins. The remaining balance of 50% is due immediately upon completion and prior to dispatch or studio pick-up.

4. Deliveries and Returns

Delivery parameters are arranged individually from our Amsterdam studio. Given the handcrafted and individualized nature of custom furniture, commissions cannot be cancelled or returned once the deposit is paid and crafting has commenced.

5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or our handcrafted items shall be instituted exclusively in the Court of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
